Shadow Studies
Working with Quinlan Private and Athony Reddy Architects we created accurate shadow studies and day light analysis of this commercial development on Sir John Rogersons Quay for planning purposes.From the cad drawings and site survey we accurately built the proposed building and the surrounding buildings.
We set up the 3D model in our sunlight environment locating it on the longtitude/latitude and taking snapshots of the shadows at the 4 periods during the year at the azimuths and the equinoxes – 2 hours after sunrise, mid day and 2 hours before sunset.
